The Weed Carnevale, Dunsmuir Railroad Days, McCloud Lumberjack Festival and the ever popular Mt. Shasta 4th of July celebration are all events that shouldn’t be missed.
Ten miles north of downtown Mt. Shasta is Weed the home of College of the Siskiyous. COS offers performing arts curriculum and provides community plays, concerts and events.
Sixty miles south of Mt. Shasta is Redding which offers access to a variety of entertainment options.
The North State Symphony is a local favorite and performs in Redding.
